mentoring & support

Drawing on over 28 years experience, I provide tailored support for schools who need help with their Computer Science provision. Whether you’re a school seeking guidance to enhance your A Level Computer Science program or a teacher transitioning to this subject, my services are designed to meet your needs. From curriculum planning to teacher mentoring, I specialise in helping schools succeed in delivering high-quality Computer Science teaching.

Computer Science teachers are a rare breed! While some schools have managed to find a newly qualified teacher, others have appointed non-specialists who have the potential to be good teachers but need guidance with the theory and coding. Actually, many teachers with degrees in a Computer Science discipline, like Software Engineering, may have not covered the material within the GCSE or A Level in their degree studies. So, someone with a Computer Science or a related degree with a mathematical component, can fly in the role given the right support! I am here to help.

brief summary of what I offer schools
